Ruslan Vilensky

Ruslan Vilensky, geboren 1985 in Lettland. Violoncellostudium in Riga bei Prof. Eleonora Testelec, anschließend Studium an der Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin bei Prof. David Geringas, 2008 Abschluss mit Diplom, zurzeit Studium zum Konzertexamen an der Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin bei Prof. Troels Svane. Meisterkurse bei Prof. János Starker, Prof. Frans Helmersson, Antonio Meneses, Prof. Pavel Gililov, Prof. Natalia Shakhovskaya, Walter Grimmer, Prof. Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Prof. Dmitri Ferschtman, Prof. Harro Ruijsenaars, Prof. Zakhar Bron, Prof. Diemut Poppen, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Georg Faust, Olaf Maninger und László Fenyö. 2007-09 Stipendiat der Orchester-Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker e. V., seit 2008 Stipendiat der Förderung Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now, Berlin, e. V. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter Aram Khachaturian International Cello Competition, David Popper International Violoncello Competition, Laureate bei der International Competition for Young Musicians Concertino Praga, Karl Davidoff International Cello Competition. Als Solist Auftritte u. a. mit Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Armenian National Symphony Orchestra, Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, Kaunas Chamber Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica Freixenet. Als Orchestermusiker Auftritte mit den Berliner Philharmonikern, Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Ensemble Resonanz. Kammermusikalische Konzerte u. a. mit David Geringas, Silvia Marcovici, Hartmut Rohde, Paul Rivinius, Ulf Hoelscher, Paul Rosenthal, Matthias Kirschnereit, Arvids Klishans, Isabel Charisius. Teilnahme an zahlreichen Musikfestivals, darunter ACDA - Acanthes - Concours Internationaux de la Ville de Paris, Public Institution Pažaislis Music Festival, Festival Internacional de Santander, Mstislav Rostropovich Cello Festival, Festival de violoncelle de Beauvais. Abschluss zum Konzertexamen mit dem Absolventenkonzert im November 2011.
